In my experience this is not accurate. I have a Winchester sxp and it has had many problems releasing rounds from the tube. you can extract the fired round, eject it, and not chamber a new round. I have a mossberg 590 the works perfectly but I have let people with less experience fire it and they have induced a failure by not opening the action all the way. On the other hand, I have a benelli m4 and the same people who have caused problems with the pump have had no issues with the benelli. I have never had a malfunction on the benelli, and that shotgun has fired around 2500 rounds. I know comparing an m4 to a Winchester is not fair but blanket statements are almost never accurate.

(1) Order when the chamber is open: slug into the chamber - bug shots in the mag tube (2) order in the mag tube: bug shots first then slug last. So when you rack it, slug shoots first.

This is just a gimmick/range toy. Unless I lived alone in a trashed house on a big plot of land the only place this weapon would have ammo in it would be at the range. Sure, you can train the process to make that thing safe after a trigger pull. If you're actually in a home invasion scenario and that adrenaline dump kicks in, that training is out the window & the habitual semi auto muscle memory will come back. Dont wanna release the trigger & accidentally shoot the neighbours dog or shoot someone if i've already neutralized them. Wildly irresponsible to use this as a home defense weapon if you have any family/pets living with you or any neighbours.

My 2nd squib didn't explode my gun. It literally just didn't fire. I have no idea how it didn't if it's actually supposed to, but lol it didn't & I had no idea I had a squib & kept trying to shoot it & even the range guy did & neither of us knew there was a squib

That makes absolutely no sense at all. Pump action shotguns operate on the last in first out protocol. If you load buckshot, then slug, then buckshot, buckshot, buckshot, then the order of ire will be 3 buckshot, then a slug, then buckshot. If you're going to do the Neal protocol, the way he seems to be talking about it, the slug should be the last thing loaded in, because it's going to be the first one that comes out, followed by your buckshot. For a home defense situation, I load the slug in first, followed up by two buckshot, then two birdshot. That way, your home invader gets hit twice with a swarm of bees, then your two rounds of buck shot. If he or she is still around, then a slug is definitely coming their way.
